Police said that as of Thursday 10,956 people that have applied for asylum remain stranded on the islands of Lesvos, Chios and Samos as their requests have been not examined yet.
A total of 20 migrants and refugees arrived on Wednesday on the Greek island of Lesvos while no arrivals were recorded on the islands of Chios and Samos.
