Teenager Admits Murder of 6-Year-Old in Northern Greece



A 15-year-old Roma boy on Monday was arrested by Greek police and confessed to the killing of a six-year-old Roma boy who had been missing since Sunday in Komotini, in northeastern Greece.

Six-year-old Mehmetali Sezal had been reported missing on Sunday and police had launched an investigation. The child was deaf and was living in the Roma settlement of Andrianoupoleos Street in Komotini.

On Monday morning, police found the body of the 6-year-old, tied and strangled, behind an abandoned house. Information led them to the 15-year-old boy who is also deaf.
