Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras spoke with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on the phone on Wednesday to discuss issues relating to the latter’s visit to Turkey which starts on Thursday.
According to Tsipras’ office, the two leaders discussed Cyprus, Europe’s relations with Turkey, migration and the need for Turkey to respect international law and stop its provocations in the Aegean.
