Twenty migrants were sent back to Turkey’s Dikeli port, in compliance with the EU-Turkey deal.
The migrants were all male: eight Pakistani nationals, five Nigerians, three Algerians, one Palestinian and one Turk. In all cases, their asylum applications had been rejected or had been withdrawn.
