Greek actor Giorgos Kimoulis has resigned after serving as chairman of the board for Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNFCC) Cultural Center, for less than a month.
Mr. Kimoulis penned a letter in which he suggests that the board of Greece’s most prominent new cultural center was being manipulated for political purposes.
In the letter that was made public, the actor made reference to the appointment of CEO Nikos Manolopoulos, accusing him of “effectively substituting the entire board of directors by taking advantage of the fragile internal balances in the governing party, which I refuse to be a part of.”
