Greek State Dodges Payments to Suppliers

The Greek State has only paid 47.2 million euros in the first two months of 2017 out of the 3.8 billion it owes to suppliers and service providers, according to General Accounting Office figures.
On January 1st, State debts to the private sector were 3.6 billion euros, showing an increase of 200 million in the first two months.
At the same time, tax refunds that haven’t been paid reached 1.255 billion euros, showing an increase of 50 million in February.
The biggest part of arrears stems from debts of security funds, amounting to 2.3 billion euros.
