A spokesman for German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said on Tuesday that the Greek deal of reforms concluded by Greece and its lenders is an important “intermediate step,” but work is still needed.
The German Finance Ministry spokesman also said that additional issues include Greece’s primary surplus, adding that “The ongoing second review of the aid program for Greece has not yet been completed.”
“The work continues. The aim is that the program review can be completed in the Eurogroup on May 22,” he added.
