A Thessaloniki first-instance court on Wednesday rejected a request by the Thessaloniki public transport company’s (OASTh) management for a temporary injunction declaring a strike by its workforce illegal.
The court said that the management’s request had no basis in the law and said the main hearing on the case will take place on September 26.
The 2,300-strong workforce of the city’s public transport company are in the third day of a strike to demand their pay for March and April.
