Qatari Royal Eyes Beach on Greek Island (video)

Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, member of Qatar’s royal family, has set his eyes on Kastani beach on Skopelos island, where parts of popular movie Mamma Mia were shot.
The billionaire sheikh spent a few days of rest with his family in the Sporades islands and, according to a Real News newspaper, fell in love with the blue and green waters of Kastani beach.
In the film, the beautiful locale is the set of the scene where Tania sings “Does your mother know” and Sophie and Sky are in love and sing “Lay all your love on me.”
According to Real News, Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani’s associates are reported to have already contacted the owners of the area just above the beach.
Allegedly, the site belongs to a well-known Greek family, and a few years ago Roman Abramovich showed interest in buying the plot along with an adjacent piece of land. However, negotiations for the purchase failed.
