Greek Fin Min Tsakalotos to Remain in his Post Until August 2018

Government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos said that Finance minister Euclid Tsakalotos will most certainly remain in his post until the end of the upcoming bailout negotiations with Greece’s international lenders in August 2018.
“I’m certain that Mr. Tsakalotos will be negotiating the country’s third bailout programme review and, along with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and the rest of the government, he will lead the country towards the exit from the memorandum era,” the spokesman said during an interview with Real FM radio.
Tzanakopoulos was asked about a potential government reshuffle after the end of summer, highly speculated by the media.
The spokesman clarified that the government’s current priorities include a new potential market run until next August, an increase in development and growth for the Greek economy and social measures to alleviate the effect of the recession to citizens most affected by it.
