A staff doctor anonymously told The Associated Press, that the 47-year-old man who survived said that he had felt sick at a depth of about 230 meters .
His 45-year-old wife who became unresponsive, was pulled up to the surface from a depth of 60 metres.
Despite efforts to revive her, the woman was pronounced dead; and following decompression procedure, it took approximately three hours to bring her husband up to the surface.
