One Dead, Three Injured in Glyfada Bar Shooting Incident

A shooting incident that took place outside a bar in the southern Athens suburb of Glyfada in the early hours of Sunday morning, resulted in one death and three serious injuries.
The incident occurred at 4:40 am in the entrance to a bar located in the corner of Metaxa and Pandora streets, in the seaside suburb of Glyfada. Unknown individuals approached the bar and opened fire, resulting in the death of an Albanian citizen and leaving three people injured.
The three injured parties, one Albanian and two Greek citizens, were carried to the Asklipieio hospital in the neighbouring Voula suburb.
According to initial reports, the deceased, a 37-year-old Albanian man, was among the bar owners. One of the injured parties is in critical condition and is fighting for his life in the hospital.
The extortion department of the Greek police have reportedly found three shell casings on the scene. According to eyewitnesses, the perpetrators of the attack were spotted approaching the bar on foot.
