Turkey’s Reconnaissance Planes Violate Greek Airspace

Two Turksih reconnaissance planes violated Greek airspace in the Aegean on Monday, three days before president Erdogan’s visit to Greece.
The Greek defence ministry says that two Turkish CN – 235 were identified and intercepted over the northeastern, central, and southeastern Aegean Sea.
The two planes made at least 34 incursions into Greek airspace.
The Greek government is expected to raise the issue of the repeated violations of its airspace by Turkey’s jets, when the Turkish President visits Athens on Thursday.
