An 82-year-old senior citizen was injured, after she was attacked and robbed by two young Roma boys in her front yard.
The attack took place in a village near Sparta on Wednesday and was recorded by the security camera of the house.
The two boys that were eventually arrested, forced themselves into the front yard and attacked the woman, so as to steal her handbag.
The woman resisted and in the ensuing struggle she was thrown to the ground, causing her to suffer head injuries.
The two boys then ran away with the handbag.
A relative said that a few days before the incident, one of the suspects had been to the woman’s house to sing the carols, and she had given him 5 euros.
