Cretan Zeus Park: the Total Cretan Experience (video)

Mount Ida (Psiloritis).
Vorizia is a small village in the prefecture of Heraklion, Crete, lying under the impressive Mount Ida (also known as Psiloritis), the highest peak on the island.
It is right here where Cretan Zeus, the largest park on the island can be found. This place showcases the local flora and fauna as well as the history, the myths and the legends of Crete through the ages.
Five different individual parks — Botanical, Natural, Zoological, Folkloric and Historic — fall under the same concept; a deep respect for nature and the ancient philosophy of life. It is a place that unites all the traditions of the island to recreate the way of life of its ancestors.
