Grace Hotel's Santoro Restaurant Wins Award

A restaurant on the popular island of Santorini has wowed judges with its impressive modern approach to Greek cuisine, scooping a prestigious award.
Santoro Restaurant at the Grace Hotel in Santorini won the Two Stars Award in the  Modern Hellenic Cuisine category at the Food & Leisure Guide Best Restaurant Awards for 2017.

In 2017, Santoro was also awarded its first Golden Toque, as part of Greece’s prestigious Golden Toques (Toques d’Or) haute cuisine awards.

Chef Spyros Agious creates exquisite Mediterranean fusion cuisine dishes on a daily basis. Guests can enjoy his tempting gastronomic treats with a magnificent sea view alongside the restaurant’s iconic infinity pool.
Shrimps slightly cooked on hot volcanic sand, barley rusk in Greek salad jus, burned avocado and ash dressing; olive oil-poached cod fillet, artichoke, Bianco fish velouté, avruga caviar and lemon olive oil air; chocolate bread, honeycomb ice cream, bee pollen, chocolate jellies and olive oil powder, are only three entries in the tantalising Santoro menu, created by Spyros Agious.
