Over 200 Refugees Land on Greek Island in 24 Hours

Just over 200 refugees and migrants have arrived on the Greek island of Lesvos in the last 24 hours, the authorities have said.
The spike followed several days of bad weather which cut arrivals to zero. There have been no arrivals on the islands of Chios and Samos.
The number of arrivals to the northern Aegean islands in January has reached a total of 1,268, of which 732 have landed on Lesvos, 119 on Chios and 417 on Samos.
