Coast Guard Rescues Migrants Adrift off Greek Island

The Greek Coast Guard rescued 31 foreign nationals in the sea around the island of Samothrace on Monday.
A rescue operation was mounted after a coast guard patrol vessel spotted a dinghy adrift east of the island with 31 people on board.
The migrants were transferred to Alexandroupolis port and afterwards they were arrested because they did not have legal travel documents.
Their boat was confiscated and the Alexandroupolis port authority is conducting an investigation.
