A new direct train service linking the port of Piraeus with Athens’ international airport will begin on Thursday, Greek train operator TRAINOSE has said.
The journey will take one hour and three minutes and will run once per hour.
TRAINOSE said it is also planning a service which will link Acharnes Railway Center (known as SKA) with the airport once per hour plus eight new services — in each direction — for the SKA-Koropi section.
The latter aims to facilitate commuting on the suburban railway with four additional morning services and four in the afternoon on working days and during rush hour.
