President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades has emphasized the need for the Cyprus negotiations to resume.
In an interview to the Greek newspaper “Ta Nea”, the President underlined that the stagnation in the Cyprus problem increases the risk of partition.
He reiterated that after the meeting of the National Council, his top advisory body as regards the Cyprus issue, he will seek a meeting with the Turkish Cypriot leader.
