Army Moves Commanders of Greek Soldiers Held in Turkey

The commanders of the two junior Greek army officers who are in custody in Turkey have been transferred to other posts.
The commander of the 16th Motorized Infantry Division and the head of the ‘Rimini’ 3rd Mountain Brigade have been ordered to move to other army units, according to Onalert military website.
Major General Dimitrios Bonoras and Brigadier Andreas Floratos, who were the respective heads of the units the arrested soldiers served in, are leaving their posts.
Bonoras, from the 16th Motorized Infantry Division of Didymoteicho, will take charge of the Army General Staff’s Fourth Division, more likely to be utilized in the Defense Planning and Operation Planning Division.
Floratos will leave the command administration of the ‘Rimini’ 3rd Motorized Mountain Brigade and will take charge of the Infantry School in Chalkida.
