Greek Gymnast Lefteris Petrounias Wins Another Gold (video)

‘Lord of the Rings’ Lefteris Petrounias added another Gold Medal to his distinguished career winning the ring competition at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku, Azerbajian.

The Greek champion scored 15.333 points and proved that he is the top athlete in the rings worldwide.

Petrounias is the 2016 Olympic champion, the 2017 and 2015 World champion, and a four-time (2011/2015-17) European medalist on the still rings (three gold and one bronze).

In late 2017, Petrounias competed at the 2017 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Montreal.

During the Championships, Petrounias successfully defended his World Title on Rings, scoring 15.433 during the final.
