Sharpshooting Siblings Win Bronze for Greece

Brother and sister team Dionysis and Anna Korakaki with their medals

Brother and sister Dionysis (19) and Anna Korakaki (22) won bronze for Greece at the final competition day the World Pistol Cup in the U.S.
It was the first time that the two athletes from Drama in northern Greece appeared together in the 10-meter Air Pistol Mixed Team event.
It was the third medal of the competition for Anna — who won gold in the Air Pistol event and bronze in 25-meter Pistol Women’s three days ago — while for Dionysis it is the first international medal of his young career.
The Greek team finished with 416.7 points.
Spain’s Pablo Carrera and Sonia Franquet secured gold at the end of a tight duel with Serbia’s Zorana Arunovic and Damir Mikec.
In 2016, Anna Korakaki became the first Greek woman to win two Olympic medals in the same competition and the first Greek athlete in general to achieve the feat since 1912.
