‘Rubicon’ Anarchists Target Council of State Premises (video)

About 70 members of the Rubicon anarchist group stormed into the Council of State building in central Athens on Monday vandalizing the facade and causing damage to the lobby.

According to police, the perpetrators broke windows, threw black paint across the facade and damaged a metal detector in the lobby of Greece’s highest administrative court.

The invaders were divided into two groups. After they threatened the guard, most of them stayed outside and about 10 of them entered the courtyard and the entrance of the court itself, throwing paint and beer bottles, along with flyers.

The perpetrators left the premises before police arrived.
