Fancy spending your Greek holidays onboard a luxury yacht for the price of a hotel apartment? Well, now you can on the island of Lefkada where a hotelier has moved his yacht into the hotel’s swimming pool.
The owner of Silencio Luxury Homes, located in Lefkada town, has apparently decided that it makes business sense to offer his stationary yacht for accommodation rather than pay steep taxes for keeping it docked in the local port.
The three-cabin yacht offers stunning views over the town and the Ionian Sea.
It may appeal to holidaymakers who want to experience holidaying on a yacht but cannot afford it. Or to others like the luxury but find sailing itself to be a chore.
