Greek Anti-Terror Unit Trains Cypriot Cops

Greek anti-terrorist police have released dramatic images of a training mission for fellow officers from Cyprus.

EKAM officers trained 10 members of Cyprus’ elite Emergency Response Unit over five days this week in Attica.

The teams collaborated on: individual combat tactics; entering tactics for buildings; first response to critical situations, as well as firearms training.

Last month Greek anti-terrorist officers trumped their European colleagues in an international competition among elite special forces held in Jordan.

EKAM officers secured the highest score from all European countries in the 10th annual contest between special forces held at a training camp.
