Train Workers to Hold 24-hr Strike on Friday; No Metro to Athens International Airport

A 24-hour strike has been announced for Friday, June 8 by train workers at Proastiakos in Athens and broader Attica.
The Metro Blue Line 3 to and from Athens International Airport will be affected by the strike of the OSE and Proastiakos (Suburban) trains, and will only go as far as Doukissis Plakendias metro station and not link to the airport.
Other workers’ strikes on Thursday June 7, 2018 consist of work stoppages on the same metro line from 5:00 am to 8:00 am, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 9:00 pm to 12:00 am.
There will be no service to and from the airport as the Metro Blue Line 3 will only go as far as Doukissis Plakendias metro station.
