A British newsreader and her eight-year-old daughter have been injured in a fire on their boat while holidaying in Greece.
U.K. media report that Natasha Kaplinsky, her husband and two children, plus two other relatives were onboard the craft in Corfu when a blaze broke out in the boat’s engine room.
The child was airlifted to the U.K. for treatment and is said to be recovering well.
Kaplinsky, who is an anchor for ITV News in Britain and is a well-known media personality, was lightly hurt in the blaze.
A local fisherman is reported to have helped evacuate the craft and extinguish the fire.
