4 Turkish Citizens Arrested for Crossing Illegally into Greece

    Greek police arrested four Turkish nationals for illegally crossing into Greek territory near the Evros River it emerged on Friday.

    The four, arrested on Thursday, will be led to a judge in the town of Orestiada who will decide whether to press charges for illegal entry into the country.

    According to reports, two of the group have said that they were journalists covering the disappearance of three Turkish children and their mother whose boat capsized in the  river along the Turkey-Greece border on July 18.

    The other two are said to be friends and relatives of the missing.
