Greece’s National Women’s Beach Handball Team is on top of the world after defeating Norway 2-1 in the final of the World Championship in Kazan, Russia on Sunday.
The “blue and white” were better than the Norwegians and won 2-1 (18-14, 15-24, 5-2), snatching the gold medal for the first time for Greece.
After winning the title, the National Women’s Beach Handball Team has secured the qualification for the next international tournament to be held in the summer of 2019 in San Diego, U.S.A.
