The Association of Agricultural Cooperatives of Naxos managed to break their own record in less than 8 hours – for the largest portion of french fries!
It took them slicing and dicing 2.5 tons of potatoes, 800 kilograms of olive oil and 24 pots to set the GuinnessĀ Record.
The finished plate weighed 625 kilograms, beating out the previous record of 554 kilograms.
The potatoes were served in one giant portion to guests at the 9th Naxos Potato Festival.
