Greece Releases Two Turkish Soldiers who Crossed Border

Greek authorities have released two Turkish servicemen who had crossed the border at Evros earlier on Sunday, after detaining them for almost eight hours.
According to the Hellenic Army General Staff, one of the soldiers was lost during trailing migrants who were trying to cross the Turkish border to Greece and the second serviceman went looking for him, both entering Greek territory accidentally.
The announcement of the Hellenic Army General Staff says that the decision to release the two Turkish servicemen was taken after talks between its Turkish army counterpart.
The two soldiers were taken by a Greek army jeep to the Kipoi bridge crossing to Turkey at 6:30 pm.
