“Zorba the Greek” is to be brought to life again in a spectacular ballet performance by the dancers of the Sofia Opera Ballet, the National Opera Orchestra, and the Fon Musicalis Choir.
Directed by Nikos Haliassas, it will take place this Saturday, September 15th at the Panathenaic Stadium.
Choreographer Lorca Massine has done an exceptional job in recreating the classic story — a hymn to the Greek spirit and love for freedom represented by Zorba — in ballet form.
