7 Injured, 1 Hospitalized after Landslide on Zakynthos' Navagio Beach

According to the officials of the Ministry of Digital Policy, the General Hospital of Zakynthos (Zante) was mobilized to treat injured tourists who were caught in the landslide at the famous Navagio Beach on Greece’s island of Zakynthos.
Updated reports say that a family from the Czech Republic was injured — the mother is still hospitalized, while the father and two children are fine and didn’t need to stay in the hospital. Three more people went to the island’s hospital but there was no need for them to stay.
The authorities took measures to count the number of tourists who were on boats nearby and they have confirmed that no one was missing.
The area has been evacuated and tourists and boats are prohibited from reaching the beach.
