The Region of Crete along with FVW, the famous German travel news organization, are joining forces to present to the German public how Crete’s sustainability leads to longevity.
More than 45 editors, journalists, and tour operators will be in Crete until October 29 in order to see the alternative and authentic destinations of Crete. In partnership with Greece’s Tourism Organization and the local authorities, the group of Germans, who are proud of being among the most influential people in the travel market of Germany, will ”discover Crete’s authenticity and its hidden treasures”.

According to state-run A.M.N.A., the 5-day workshop will include extensive sightseeing tours, visits to museums and cultural centers, hotels, restaurants and various artistic spectacles, as well as meetings with decision makers and famous social media influencers.
The main aim of the local authorities of the Region of Crete is to make Crete’s hidden treasures and its alternative destinations known to the Germans, a tourist market that already knows and prefers Crete over many other destinations.
