Police, Students Violently Clash in Central Athens

Student demonstrators opposing reforms to Greek secondary education clashed with police in central Athens on Monday.
Police fired tear gas at protesters who were hurling Molotov cocktails and rocks in Syntagma Square, opposite the Greek Parliament.
There are no reports of injuries.
The clashes erupted after a demonstration by hundreds of students demanding that the Ministry of Education withdraws a bill which they claim will increase their workload and force students to seek private tutoring.
