Albanian Travel Agency in Athens Target of Attack

Petrol bombs were thrown at an Albanian travel agency in central Athens in the early hours of Tuesday, causing some exterior damage.
Unknown assailants attacked the business on Deligianni Street and then made off. The incident occurred at around 1 a.m., police said.
Investigators are examining the possibility that the attack is related to the killing of Konstantinos Katsifas by Albanian security forces on Sunday.

Fearing reprisals, the Greek police has taken measures to protect Albanian interests in the country, including the Albanian embassy, consulate, shops and businesses.
Security measures were also bolstered in prisons where a substantial number of Albanian nationals are held.
