Four Police Injured in Athens Court After Fight With Anarchists (video)

Four police officers belonging to the Hellenic Police‘s motorcycle-mounted ”DIAS” force were injured on Monday morning in an Athens court, following a fight with a group of anarchists.
The officers were in court to testify as witnesses for the prosecution in a case about a motorcade of anarchists in 2012.
More than fifty supporters of the twenty-one defendants had a verbal dispute with the police officers who were there at the moment. The argument escalated to a fight, resulting in injuries to four of the officers.
All of the injured ”DIAS” members were transferred to Athens’ 401 Military Hospital but all their injuries were reported to be minor.
