Greek police are on alert following a bomb scare in the early hours of Tuesday in the Athenian district of Vyronas.
A man called two news outlets at 4:00 am local time, saying that a bomb would explode in 20 minutes on Adramytiou Street.
Police rushed to the scene to find an explosive device hidden in a storage compartment of a parked motorbike which failed to explode.
The motorbike was parked outside the apartment building where prominent judge Isidoros Dogiakos lives.
The area has been cordoned off and the anti-terrorist squad is conducting investigations.
