A woman was killed on Monday when she was hit by a train in the downtown Athens district of Sepolia, between Konstantinoupoleos and Damvergi streets.
The train was on its normal route between Thessaloniki and Athens.
The reasons of the accident are yet unknown, with some reports suggesting that the woman committed suicide. The body was transferred to the morgue at nearby Nikea General Hospital.
