The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC), south of Athens, was transformed into a glittering Christmas destination for both children and adults over the weekend.
About fifteen thousand visitors of all ages watched the SNFCC’s “Christmas World” come alive at a huge celebration which kicked off with the lighting of Christmas trees and decorations on Saturday evening.
The SNFCC’s “Christmas World” event will continue throughout December and will culminate on New Year’s Eve with many festive events and fireworks. The first footrace of the new year will also take place there on January 1, 2019.
