
A homeless man holding British nationality was found brutally murdered in Athens’ underground station Thisio on Thursday morning.
The British national had been living on the streets of Athens. His body was found by employees of the Athenian electric railways at 10:40 local time (8:40 GMT) on Thursday.
The man’s body was transferred to a nearby morgue, where the coroner found that he had been brutally stabbed following a fight with an unknown person, or persons.
The Greek police authorities are conducting a preliminary examination to discover the circumstances behind the murder.
