Crucial Coalition Meeting Between Tsipras, Kammenos Postponed

A greatly-anticipated meeting between Greek Premier Alexis Tsipras and his Defense Minister Panos Kammenos over the future of their coalition government has been postponed.
Kammenos, the leader of the nationalist Independent Greek party (ANEL) had threatened to withdraw from the government in opposition to the Prespa agreement made with FYROM.
However, he appeared to change his tack following the news that the parliament in Skopje has postponed a crucial vote to ratify constitutional changes necessary for the implementation of the agreement.
Despite his repeated threats that he would leave the government, he declared during a parliamentary committee session on Friday that “I am not an outgoing minister.”
Speaking to reporters on Friday, Kammenos said that “We are in open contact with the Prime Minister. Until the imbroglio in Skopje is cleared up, we both agreed to postpone the meeting. We cannot discuss hypothetical scenarios.”
