Migrants Endure Squalor, Freezing Temps in Greek Migrant Camp (video)

A heartbreaking video of the squalid conditions prevailing in the Diavata migrant camp in northern Greece was secretly filmed by volunteers early last week.
It shows asylum seekers desperately trying to protect themselves from the freezing cold as the camp is covered in snow.
Last week two people were injured during a protest regarding living conditions at the camp.
The refugee camp, north of Thessaloniki, has a capacity of 700 people but it currently has 1,410 residents.
Out of the total camp population, 700 people live in containers which have been turned into small houses, 300 are staying in large communal buildings in the camp, and about 400 individuals live in tents.
