Greek police arrested a Greek soldier and a British employee for a non-government organization on Sunday for allegedly taking photographs of military installations near the land border with Turkey.

Police said on Monday that the two men — a 29-year-old Greek soldier and a 25-year-old Briton — were arrested in a restricted area near the village of Nea Vyssa.

According to sources, the 29-year-old is currently serving with the Hellenic Air Force.

The two men are expected to be brought before a prosecutor and face possible charges.
