Crete: Four Missing in Heraklion After Flood Waters Sweep Away Their Vehicle

A search operation is underway in the area of Mires, Heraklion on the island of Crete, four people who were passengers in a car were swept away by flood waters at the passage of Geropotamos.
According to police in the car were three women and a man. The rescue team started searching the area at 01:00 on Sunday.
Firemen and the army are using a helicopter to search the area assisted by a drone and a Disasters Special Unit (EMAK) vessel.
