FIBA World Cup 2019: These Are Greece’s Opponents



The draw was made on Saturday for the FIBA World Cup 2019 which will take place in China starting on August 31, with the final scheduled for September 15.

Greece will play in Group F with Brazil, Montenegro, and New Zealand, in the city of Nanjing.

The top two teams of each group advance to the last 16, with the teams from Greece’s group set to join those who will advance from Group E.

Group E includes the USA, Turkey, the Czech Republic and Japan.

The FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 in China will be the biggest edition of FIBA’s flagship event with a record 32 participating teams.

In its 18th edition, the FIBA Basketball World Cup will take place in China for the first time ever.

The tournament will be played in 8 cities – Beijing, Foshan, Wuhan, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Nanjing, Shanghai and Guangzhou and across 5 provinces. 92 games will be played over 16 days.
