Google is honoring the nation of Greece today by today by dedicating its doodle to the March 25 anniversary of theĀ Greek revolution against the Ottoman Empire.
An animation with the Greek flag will replace the logo on Google’s homepages all day on Monday.
A Google Doodle is a special, temporary alteration of the logo on Google’s homepages which is intended to commemorate holidays, events, achievements, and notable historical figures.
The European Commission is also celebrating Greece’s National day with the following video:
