Greeks who live abroad and wish to vote for Greek candidates in the upcoming European Elections have until April 5 to register to vote, the Greek Ministry of Interior announced on Friday.
The Greek Ministry of the Interior originally wanted to close the registration period on March 29. The extension also applies to Greeks living in the United Kingdom who have until April 10 to register to vote.
Registration can be completed either online at Ypes.gr or in person at Greek Embassies and Consulates.
The European Elections will take place between May 23 and May 26, with most of the EU member states holding elections on Sunday, May 26.
