British Couple Die in Road Accident on Santorini

The British Foreign Office confirmed on Wednesday that the couple who were killed in a road accident on Santorini on Sunday were British citizens.
A man and a woman, said to be in their 20s, fell into a nearly-700ft ravine while driving their buggy on Profitis Ilias Mountain.
The peak of the mountain is the highest point on the entire island, which is popular with British holidaymakers.
Rescue workers initially struggled to reach the couple in the remote ravine on the side of the mountain.
The couple was later declared dead at the scene, and their bodies have since been removed.
The British Foreign Office said it was assisting the families of two people who had died and that it was in contact with the Greek authorities.
